As of 8 June,2026 the Western Route Export Pipeline (WREP), including the Supsa Terminal, has transitioned to the operatorship of SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC.
In accordance with the agreement between the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) and SOCAR, the existing operatorship agreement with bp has concluded, and operational responsibility has been assumed by SOCAR Midstream.
On the first day of operatorship, Farhan Aliyev, Executive Director of SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC, addressed the team at the Supsa Terminal, highlighting the importance of ensuring uninterrupted and reliable operations, maintaining established operational standards, and preserving the expertise of the professional team.
As one of the key energy routes connecting the Caspian region with the Black Sea and international markets, WREP continues to maintain its strategic importance as an essential component of regional energy infrastructure.
