SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC (SMO) applies transparent, controlled, and value-driven procurement practices to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations across its assets and projects.

Our Supply Chain Management (SCM) function is responsible for sourcing goods and services in accordance with SMO’s internal policies, governance framework, and applicable legal, ethical, and compliance requirements. Procurement activities are conducted with a strong focus on operational continuity, cost efficiency, risk management, and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and integrity standards.

SMO engages suppliers through structured procurement processes based on business needs, operational criticality, and risk assessment. Supplier selection is conducted in line with internal qualification, due diligence, and approval procedures, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability throughout the process.

Supplier engagement and participation in sourcing activities is subject to internal qualification and approval processes, including inclusion in SMO’s Approved Vendor List (AVL).
