IPOL Segment

SOCAR’s Integrated Planning, Optimization and Logistics (IPOL) business segment is responsible for identifying optimization and improvement opportunities across the oil value chain, integrating plans while balancing demand, production and logistics constraints, modeling the value chain, and managing and planning logistics infrastructure assets, including cargo, pipeline, rail and marine logistics.

The IPOL segment supports the evaluation and optimization of integrated business models and regulates the business activities of the legal entities within the SOCAR Group that operate under the segment.

According to the protocol of SOCAR’s Supervisory Board dated 26 July 2023, the IPOL segment is organized into two departments: the Integrated Planning and Commercial Optimization Department and the Logistics and Infrastructure Management Department.

The IPOL segment comprises the following business units and operational units classified as assets:

Business units:

– SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC
– Eurasia Transport and Terminals Company LLC
– Sarmatia LLC

Operational units:

– Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline
– Western Route Export Pipeline (Baku-Supsa)
– Northern Route Export Pipeline (Baku-Novorossiysk)
– Black Sea Terminal LLC (Kulevi Terminal)
– SOCAR Oil Pipelines Department
– SOCAR Terminal (Petlim).
