In March 2020 technical operatorship of the South Caucasus Pipeline Co (SCPC) was transferred from BP Exploration Shah Deniz Limited to SOCAR Midstream Operations Limited (SOCAR Midstream), a fully owned subsidiary of SOCAR.
The South Caucasus Pipeline is one of the key sections of the Southern Gas Corridor. SOCAR Midstream has been the Commercial Operator of the South Caucasus Pipeline Company since 2015, conducting all commercial operations of the pipeline on a high level.
As the new Technical Operator SOCAR Midstream applies its successful experience and continue working closely with all the partners to sustain the high level of safety, reliability, and environmental performance of SCPC.
