Specialists from the technical department of SOCAR Midstream Operations participated in the training organized by TANAP and conducted by VALVITALIA in Eskisehir, Turkey, on November 20-22, 2017. Within the framework of the training, detailed information was provided on the description of the VALVITALIA scope of supply for both mainline and station orders in TANAP project, number of the supplied valves, description of the types, operations procedures, maintenance and actuators models which will be used with valves.
Also detailed training was conducted by representatives of EMERSON and ROTORK companies for the actuators installed on the valves. In this part of the training, theoretical and practical training on how to implement the operating principles of actuators, integration to the system, control, calibration and maintenance procedures has been covered. At the end of the training, specialists of technical department of SOCAR Midstream Operations company were provided with EMERSON, ROTORK and VALVITALIA certificates for valves and actuators.
